Terms of use
MENACodex publishes findings, briefs and reports computed from official economic statistics for 21 economies of the Middle East and North Africa. By using the site you accept these terms.
What the site is, and is not
The site is information, not advice. Findings are produced by rules applied to published data; briefs and reports are written from those findings. Nothing here is a recommendation to buy, sell, lend, invest or take any decision, and MENACodex is not a financial, legal or investment adviser. Check the source release before relying on any figure for a decision; every figure links to it.
Accuracy
We work to keep every figure faithful to its source and every sentence faithful to the figures, and we correct errors as described on the Corrections page. Even so, the data can be revised by its publishers, can arrive late or incomplete for some countries, and our rules can miss things. The site is provided as it is, without warranty of any kind, and MENACodex is not liable for loss arising from its use.
Who owns what
The underlying figures belong to the organisations that publish them and are reused under their licences, listed on the Sources page with the credit each requires. The findings, briefs, reports, charts, wording and design of this site are MENACodex’s. You may quote and link to them with credit to MENACodex and, for the figures, to their source.
Acceptable use
Read, search, quote and link freely. Please do not copy the site wholesale, republish its contents as your own, or load the data service with automated requests beyond what a reader would make: request budgets are enforced and a client that exceeds them is asked to wait. Downloads are offered only for sources whose licence permits redistribution, and each file carries the credit its licence requires. Programmatic access to the data service is by agreement.
Changes
These terms may change as the site grows; the date below is when they were last changed. Continued use after a change means acceptance of the new terms.
